I was offered a new project for a jewelry brand based in Switzerland. The challenge was that we had very little time from concept to completion. We had over 9 different scenes which needed to be all shot within 2 days. Several set changes and a limited crew. I was fortunate to work again with my dop EC. In a project which seemed impossible turned out to be a surprise gem (no pun intended). Here are some behind the scenes pictures I took with my iphone. When I heard the news of a new editing app from Avid, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I mean, this was the very reason why I got the iPad in the first place. I’m surprised it has taken this long. And no, I don’t consider the iMovie app to be worth my dollar. I have yet to play around with Avid Studio, but I love the layout. Here are a few pictures I took
Don’t expect a review as I think there would be plenty up on Youtube. Although if this is a knockout product, I’ll let you know.
What you see here are some props for an upcoming project I’m working on. It’s been a slow process but things are starting to come together. The image you see are a few elbow and knee pads, as well as a few masks. The second image is a modified Nerf gun which is still being worked on. Can’t say much more but I promise there’ll be more to come.
If you ask me what my favorite film is of all time, without a doubt I would say ‘Blade Runner’.
Personally I would prefer them to leave this film alone as it is.
Ridley Scott confirmed with the Wall Street Journal Blog, Speakeasy, that he will, indeed, be helming the sequel to BLADE RUNNER. He told the blog, “I think I’m close to finding a writer that might be able to help me deliver. We’re quite a long way in, actually.”

For all you amateur filmmakers who’ve had the joy of using the 5D MII can now look forward to the Canon C300.
Canon is now targetting the professional market who have been using either the Red Scarlet or Arri Alexa.
The sensor is a Super 35mm CMOS and is capable of bringing 4k resolution with this devices many various EF zoom lenses.
The C300 will be costing $20,000 USD in stores starting in 2012.

It’s been a little quiet the past few weeks due to wedding preparations. I’m now a married man and I’m back to the drawing board to bring you guys some exciting new things which are currently in development.

I remember it was almost impossible to get good looking sci fi guns. I recall when I saw a customized futuristic gun, it looked tacky and cheesy. Now with the help of Nurf guns, it has become a whole lot easier. Although it may be quite time consuming, it is so friggin worth it. Took me a day and a half to open it apart, sandpaper it, spray paint it with 2 coats than completeing it with a matt finish. I think I found a new hobby
